Reflections on Giving Thanks

Thank you to every staff member, volunteer, donor, and partner who helped ensure that no senior went without a warm, traditional Thanksgiving meal last week. On a day when so many Angelenos gather with family and friends, the seniors we serve — many of whom live alone or are unable to leave their homes — were not forgotten.

Because we are privately funded, this work depends entirely on the generosity of people like you. Your support makes it possible to prepare and deliver nutritious meals and a much-needed visit to thousands of homebound seniors across Los Angeles.

This year, a group of donors has stepped forward with a Triple Match Challenge:
