Love Multiplies
“Arise, shine, for your light has come.” — Isaiah 60:1
Sometimes light looks ordinary.
A kitchen coming to life before dawn.
Meals planned, prepared and packed.
A driver knocking at a familiar door.
At St. Vincent Meals on Wheels, these simple actions matter.
A hot meal says, “You’re okay today.”
A daily visit says, “You are seen.”
And over time, any uncertainty or loneliness gives way to trust and connection.
For nearly 50 years, since the Daughters of Charity began this mission, our promise has stayed the same:
One senior at a time, one meal at a time — prepared and delivered with dignity and love.
As we move into this new year, we stay focused on that work and open doors to those who might otherwise be forgotten.
And something else happens: staff, volunteers, donors — all of us — are shaped by the care we give.
Love multiplies.
Thank you for helping carry this light so seniors across Los Angeles can thrive.
