Lights, Camera, Action! St. Vincent Meals on Wheels Rolled Out the Red Carpet for a Dazzling “Hollywood Under the Stars” Gala Fundraiser at the Illustrious Paramount on Saturday, June 21!
The night was a star-studded affair as we celebrated the amazing Nelly Llanos-Kilroy, who took home the prestigious Crystal Angel of Service Award! The Daughters of Charity Foundation welcomed guests during a Champagne and Cocktail VIP Reception featuring delightful bites created by the fabulous VIP Angel Chef Giuseppe Gentile from Florence Osteria & Piano Bar and L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, all set in the historic Paramount Theater.
Guests kicked off their culinary adventure with a chef-curated tasting menu from our talented 2025 Culinary Angels, highlighting the culinary masterpieces of Chefs Mihir Lad (Arth Bar + Kitchen), Nika Shoemaker-Machado (Georgia’s Restaurant), John Sungkamee (Thai Emporium), Armando Quiroz (City Club LA), and Noah Clark (BOX Chicken).
And let’s not forget the sweets! Our 2025 Sweet Angels served up heavenly desserts from Saffy’s, Bertha Mae’s Brownie Co., Lark Cake Shop, and Marsatta Chocolate that had everyone buzzing with delight.
Amidst all the fun, generous guests helped raise vital funds to ensure that St. Vincent Meals on Wheels can continue to prepare and deliver hot meals and love to our homebound seniors.
As the night sparkled under the stars, guests sipped on signature cocktails and danced the night away to the lively sounds of the 10-piece live band, courtesy of the de Bois All Stars. It was an unforgettable evening filled with gourmet flavors, good company, and the spirit of community.
