Gathering for Good: Advancing the Mission at Meals on Wheels California

Last month in San Diego, leaders from across the state gathered for the Meals on Wheels California conference—sharing ideas, strengthening partnerships, and moving the mission forward for seniors.

St. Vincent Meals on Wheels was proud to be there.

Our Executive Director Veronica Dover—who also serves on the board of Meals on Wheels California—was joined by Director of Development Julie Delgadillo and Programs Director Cecilia Caballero.

Advocacy ensures seniors are seen, heard, and supported—today and for the future. It strengthens the systems that make it possible to prepare and deliver food and love to homebound seniors across Los Angeles County. And it connects us to a broader movement—organizations across California working together to meet the growing needs of an aging population.

For nearly fifty years, this work has continued—adapting, growing, and responding to what seniors need most. Because leaders like Veronica and her team show up—and so do you—we are stronger.
