Committed to Service

“And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

As we step into 2026, our focus remains clear: preparing and delivering food and love to homebound seniors across Los Angeles County. That commitment is carried forward every day by the people behind the scenes who make sure our mission stays strong, responsive, and rooted in care.

At the heart of this work is Julie Delgadillo, our Director of Development, and the team she leads with care and conviction. Julie brings a deep belief in service—shaped by years of humanitarian work and lived experience. She knows firsthand what it means to care for aging parents, and she carries that understanding into everything she does at St. Vincent Meals on Wheels, often with equal parts purpose and joy.

Julie deeply appreciates the donors and partners who make this mission possible, and she is mindful of the trust they place in us—honoring every gift by keeping our focus where it belongs: on the seniors we serve. As a ministry of the Daughters of Charity, St. Vincent Meals on Wheels reflects values that resonate deeply with Julie and guide her leadership.

Together, she and her team help ensure the work is not just efficient, but human—centered on respect, compassion, and showing up every day for those who rely on us.

Because service isn’t abstract here.
It’s personal.
It’s something we carry—so our seniors can continue to thrive.
