A Message From Veronica Dover

Dear Friends,

As we head quickly into the holiday season and speed towards 2023, I am encouraged by the ways that our world is beginning to return to normal patterns. At St. Vincent Meals on Wheels, we are moving slowly toward a more ‘normal’ delivery pattern with many of our routes able to return to hot meal delivery 5 days each week. It is such a blessing to see so many of our seniors daily once again.

We were able to hold our beautiful in person Hollywood Under the Stars event this past June at the legendary Paramount Studios right in the heart of our delivery area. What a wonderful evening of celebration; it was so uplifting to see everyone in person and having fun!

Our Circle of Angels event was held in late September in person at our kitchen and again it was so encouraging to see everyone.

And finally, the celebrations of the 45th anniversary of this amazing ministry are being held this entire year! As we Thrive at 45, we stand ready to meet the needs of our seniors well into the future.

Thank you to everyone who supports this tremendous ministry. Your support and prayers lift us up and make it possible for us to do this tremendous work through these challenging times!

As we head into the holidays and prepare for the new year, I pray that each of you fully enjoy time with family, friends, and community!
